Assisted Stretch Therapy is a table based therapy where your therapist uses straps, assisted movements and the table to help increase range of motion throughout the body.
Stretching by yourself can be boring and is the most common part of our movement practice that is ignored.
With the help of a Stretch Therapist, you experience not only a deep, safe stretch but an overall sense of improved mobility and well-being. Stretch Therapy is also used to help downregulate your nervous system, which is incredibly important in our modern world.
A session ranges between 45-75 minutes long and all you need is a space where you are comfortable and to wear standard gym wear.
While there are some instances where assisted stretch therapy should be avoided (although it is very, VERY rare), it is best to contact Kristin before making your booking to discuss any questions you may have.
How often should you have Assisted Stretch Therapy?
One session per week is the sweet spot.
One session every two weeks is great.
One session every four weeks is ideal if you feel you need a deep stretch session.
How does it feel?
Imagine having a massage, yoga and stretch session all in one and without doing any of the work....
